Interesting Fact
In 1927, thousands of dolls were sent from the United States to Japan as symbols of friendship between children in both countries. Japan later responded with its own dolls. Many of these "Friendship Dolls" still survive today, reminding visitors of a unique cultural exchange nearly a century later.
