JLPT N5

Interesting Fact

Most train stations are built to take people somewhere. "Seiryu Miharashi Station" was built for the opposite reason. Opened in 2019, the station sits beside a scenic river with no roads, no nearby town, and no ticket gate. Trains stop there simply so passengers can step off, enjoy the view, and then continue their journey. The only way to arrive is by trainโ€”and the only thing waiting for you is the scenery. It's almost as if the kanji ่กŒ is quietly telling you: "go," enjoy the view, and keep moving forward.

Memory Trick

The kanji looks like two roads crossing each other. Roads are made for going places, giving us ่กŒ, meaning go.
