JLPT N5

Interesting Fact

For centuries, temples in Japan held a Buddhist observance known as Jūya-e (十倜会), or the "Ten Nights" ceremony. It was believed that spending ten nights in reflection and prayer brought spiritual merit greater than years of ordinary practice. Rather than a single holy day, enlightenment was pursued one night at a time, for ten consecutive nights.
