Interesting Fact
Japanese students often joke about the "three-day monk." A person becomes obsessed with a new hobby, studies intensely for three days, then completely gives up. The phrase mikka bōzu (三日坊主) is still used today to describe someone whose motivation disappears almost as quickly as it arrived.
